There’s something about a child and their relationship with food. They get right into it sometimes, and while they eat, their world seems to narrow to just include them and whatever they’re devouring.
In the past, I’ve watched my own kids eat and they just lose themselves in the moment and find so much joy and excitement in what they’ve got. Especially the messier foods - they were always a hit, but required more cleaning after!
