Currently, our son is run by a great speech therapist privately, he also has classes with a speech therapist in kindergarten, works with a pedagogue, takes part in corrective classes, as well as recently supported him in kindergarten by a special educator who works with him one to one, to all this is added massages using the Musgatova method.

Alex is almost 6 years old, he will finish it in about 2.5 months, from September he will start pre-school, I feel how time is running out for us, how the school system knocks on the door and it scares me very much, yes, the progress since the beginning of the diagnosis is huge, the jump he made during the rehabilitation stay is huge, but all this is not enough yet.

It's hard to catch up with 2.5 years. I am also faced with the question of whether to make another attempt to find him a place in the integration kindergarten, or to let him finish kindergarten with children he knows. Sometimes in this kindergarten it was hard for us, many times I felt powerless picking up my son (who is a charming child, full of empathy) and I heard that the ladies can not cope, that every now and then someone is wrong, more than once someone bothered him because the son had a problem with communication.

Now, however, something has moved, I see that the ladies are trying, they are happy with the progress our beloved treasury is making, I see him chasing the rest of the group and I also see that he has finally found his place in the group. Conditions in the kindergarten are average, since this year his group is in a smaller Hall, and the children in it have not disappeared.

Well, but the subject of conditions, in kindergarten is a secondary matter. Actually, this text was supposed to bring my plan for the coming months of therapy closer. And where did the plan come from, from mothers who use the so-called Krakow Method. Looking for refreshment on the forum dedicated to children with aphasia, it is often this method that is highly praised. What is it and for what is it called Krakowska? Well, as it is not difficult to guess, its concept was created at the Pedagogical University by researchers of the Department of Speech Therapy, and the Team of Diagnosis and Language Therapy. Research on this method was led by Prof.

Jagoda Cieszyńska supported by her sister Elżbieta Wianecka, and their work was based on the work of their mother. So the genesis and evolution of this method is long and supported by years of research. Interestingly, this method is not only aimed at children with aphasia, but also at supporting children with numerous cognitive dysfunctions. The main assumption of this method focuses on stimulating intellectual development by achieving subsequent stages of development of all cognitive functions. Nie zależnie od przyczyn afazji drogą ku lepszemu jest dobranie odpowiedniej terapii i nie do końca wiadomo, która droga będzie właściwa, czy dana metoda pomoże naszemu dziecku. Często wydaje się, że coś nie działa przez długi czas a nagle w końcu następuje przełom, czasem dziecko musi po prostu dojrzeć i nagle niczym lawina zaczyna się pojawiać całe może sukcesów.

Rzadko jednak bywa, by trafić od razu we właściwą terapię. A kolejne sukcesy w postaci, przyspieszonego rozwoju dziecka, zwykle są wynikiem wielotorowej rehabilitacji. Alex ma już prawie 6 lat, skończy je za jakieś 2,5 miesiąca, od września rozpocznie zerówkę, czuję jak czas nam ucieka, jak system szkolny puka do drzwi i bardzo mnie to przeraża, owszem postęp od początku diagnozy jest olbrzymi, skok który zrobił w trakcie, turnusu rehabilitacyjnego, jest olbrzymi, ale wszystko to jest jeszcze nie wystarczające.

Trudno nadrobić zaległości rzędu 2,5 lat. Stoję, też przed pytaniem czy podjąć kolejną, próbę znalezienia mu miejsca w zerówce integracyjnej, czy dać mu skończyć przedszkole z dziećmi, które zna. Nieraz w tym przedszkolu było nam ciężko, wiele razy czułam bezsilność odbierając synka ( który jest przeuroczym dzieckiem, pełnym empatii) i słyszałam, że Panie sobie nie radzą, że co chwilę ktoś jest nie tak, nie raz ktoś mu dokuczał bo synek miał problem z komunikacją.

Teraz jednak, coś drgnęło, widzę że Panie się starają, cieszą się z tego jakie postępy robi nasz kochany skarbek, widzę jak goni za resztą grupy i widzę też, że w końcu odnalazł swoje miejsce w grupie. Warunki w przedszkolu są średnie, od tego roku jego grupa jest w mniejszej Sali, a dzieci w niej nie ubyło.

Co ciekawe, metoda ta nie jest ukierunkowana tylko na dzieci z afazją, ale również na wsparcie dzieci z licznymi dysfunkcjami poznawczymi. Główne założenie tej metody skupia się a stymulacji rozwoju intelektualnego, poprzez osiągnięcie kolejnych etapów rozwoju wszystkich funkcji poznawczych. Metoda ta opiera się głównie na intensywnej stymulacji językowej, dzięki niej wypracowuje się w dziecku chęć i potrzebę komunikacji. Co ciekawe ucząc się tzw. Metodą Krakowską oprócz znacznej poprawy mowy, młody człowiek uczy się w gratisie czytać. Więc ta metoda jest też świetną sprawą dla dzieci zagrożonych dysleksją.

W grudniu planuję zakupić pakiet startowy do początku terapii tą metodą. Naszą przygodę z tą metodą rozpoczniemy od kompletu książek z płytami zatytułowanych Słucham i uczę się mówić. W skład zestawu wchodzi aż 12 książek i 12 płyt, dam znać jak nam idzie dalsza praca w oparciu o tą metodę, jeśli faktycznie wynik będą zadowalające, zakupię koleje książki z serii i rzucimy się w wir dalszej pracy.

Przed nami dużo pracy, ale metoda sylabowa wydaje się być słusznym krokiem w przypadku naszego skarbka, gdyż większość prawidłowo wypowiadanych przez Alexa słów zostało wypracowanych na bazie sylab. Na pewno nasze problemy nie znikną, praca nad mową jest mozolna ale wieżę, że to dobry kierunek.
