Who has already made use of drop shipping like Shopify? If so, how was your experience? I haven't had the chance yet, so wondering what it's like making use of that service/seller.

It’s a pretty solid platform to get started with very little capital

I take it you're looking it from the perspective of a seller? That was what I was thinking also. Although the video mainly focused from the consumers perspective.

Thanks for the insight.

Yea from the seller, I have plenty of clients who use Shopify and I do their marketing! It sure has its limitations but it has more than enough for you to build a successful ecommerce business

I had a terrible experience with Shopify. I will never use them again.

They refunded all my customers because they gave me the wrong information on live support which meant their payment facility was set up incorrectly. I did exactly what they told me to do.

None of my customers asked for a refund. Shopify just did it.

When I asked for them to refund the money since I'd had no part in it, they said it was my problem and I would have to contact all my customers and ask them to send their payments again.

I was incredulous but I later found out that this is pretty common.

Oh that's terrible to know. I should then definitely look more into it.
Thanks for sharing.

Wait for it . . . survival shovels. 😂

Actually lots of different things. But those were what got refunded. Grrrrrr!

They were my most successful products along with some wire cutters. 😂

Drop shipping was not a business I enjoyed much, although it was pretty lucrative in the early days.

My experience with Shopify was the final nail in the coffin.

I tried a few different ecommerce platforms. Wordpress and Woocommerce suited me the best.

I started setting a shopify store a few weeks ago - NOT dropshipping, I sell tarot readings.

It is one of those things that is simple, but not easy. I hit some walls, but I am going to keep going.

Would love to hear more about your experience once it expands.

Ohhhh so indeed not only goods, but also services could be "sold". Oh I don't have a business (yet), I was more looking into it from a consumers perspective. To be honest I knew about Shopify, but not about dropshipping until now. We/I learn something new everyday.
