My Actifit Report Card: March 22 2020
Hey everybody! Thanks for stopping by!
Sunday; a day we usually go to church. Not today. Our church is closed due to coronavirus, so our pastor Carl did a FB live.
It was a good sermon, but I miss the real live thing! I know God understands 😇
At 2:30, we met Jan and headed out for the hike. It was still warm-ish, but the sun was hiding behind clouds, so no beautiful blue skies were to be found. When we got to Slumbering Bear, as we headed down, a pussywillow tree has progressed past the soft little buds to full bloom and lots of pollen.
If you read yesterday’s post, you met Actifit-Lamb. Well, she loves to go hiking and today was no exception! Once again, when we got to the open meadow up at Towhee Ridge, she broke the group and ran! We found her perched up on one of the barrels looking at the distant view.
We’ve told her there are things in this forest that would love to have a snack, but she just apparently can’t help herself!
At this rate, I’m going to have to get a harness for her, lol!
We headed home and had some coffee and relaxed a little.
Tomorrow is going to be interesting as it’s supposed to rain. Normally if it did, we’d just head to the mall and walk there, but with the coronavirus, that’s not an option now. We are not on lockdown yet but we’re trying to stay away from most folks.

That lamb is so cute! We used to live over on the east side of the \state in Ferry County (one property line was the Canadian border) and we had three goats that would come with us on walks. Some times the cats would follow too. Super fun.
I hope you guys don't get stifled by the rain today.
We managed our hike in the only dry portion of the day. Afterwards, we were headed to the store not maybe more than 15 minutes, and I saw lightening up close and personal like I haven't seen in years. We just don't get a lot of lightening here. It was quite impressive! I used to have a Nubian goat I raised with a bottle some years ago. She was quite the character, however moving from Colorado to Washington would lead to a severe illness and technical death that only love and devotion could overcome. She survived and maybe someday, I'll write a post about Mocha the Nubian Goat! Anyway, I couldn't resist Actifit-Lamb, so I will eventually have a clothing line for her and a lamb size fitbit as well. Since we are on lockdown now, I might have some time to get cracking on that.
