My Actifit Report Card: April 4 2020
Hi everybody! Thanks for stopping by!
We got up this morning and got ready to participate in something we had not done before - a silvergoldstackers chat on Discord. We got the chance to put voices to faces. It was great to hear @dfinney, @summertooth, @fat-elvis , @saffisara, @kerrislravenhill, @silver-horde and last but not least, @enginewitty. @silvertop was with me. It was a good time!😎🙌
Afterwards, we did a few things around the house and just as we got ready to work on music, our oldest son called. He’s pretty bored at work and spends a lot of his day walking the hiking trails on the work premises as there’s not a lot to do. His line of work is essential, so he’s there 12 hours for 3 days on and 4 off.
After we got off the phone with him, we ran through a larger than normal set of songs. It was good to work on music again. I’m really not sure when we’ll be able to go back to normal church service and actually lead worship again.
When we were done with that, we set out for our hike. It was sunny and beautiful with a light breeze. We did the whole hike and of course, Actifit-Lamb was in on the action.
Actifit-Lamb says it’s always good to find a spot along the trail to take a load off. Someplace nice and soft like this bed of moss she found. I had a hard time convincing her that we needed to get going, lol!
There are many different types of trees in our forest and one we find often is the paper birch. I like to look for unique angles for photos and this was today’s abstract shot.
After the hike, I made coffees for us both, and we sat down to finish a movie we started last night.
We are both tired tonight, so I’m hoping for an early bedtime this evening.
