My Actifit Report Card: April 17 2020
This week should have been Songkran, the biggest holiday in Thailand and the time everyone gathers on the streets wearing brightly coloured shirts and spraying water over each other whilst getting as pissed as possible for 3 days. This year however, it was completely cancelled. No public holiday, no alcohol on sale and no one allowed out of their homes between 10pm and 4am.
But it's not all doom and gloom here. From 1st of May, restrictions will be slowly relaxed in stages in various parts of Thailand until it's all open again by July the 1st.
That's the theory anyway!
The other good news today was that non-food sections of the supermarket reopened after 3 weeks.....probably to sell off all the unwanted and unsold Songkran shirts!

I liked these colored shirts. What an interesting holiday with special traditions. People turn into children and pour water on each other. Cool! And why should they be angry because they're all wet? How diverse the world is, with its own special holidays everywhere...
