My Actifit Report Card: February 21 2020

I had a really wonderful day playing disc golf today and found a couple of discs on the eighteen basket pro course. The first one I found right in the middle of the fairway. It was really easy to see the bright red disc in the grass.

It was a very nice find - a premium Star plastic hardly used Innova XCaliber disc. From the flight numbers it looks like this will be a pretty overstable disc but I have not thrown it yet. I'm getting very found of discs I can't easily turn since my arm speed has improved. They are great for risky throws into a headwind.

The disc looks like an older version because there are no flight numbers stamped on it. I'm surprised to find it in such good shape.

The next disc I found was one that I had lost a few months earlier in the fall. I liked the disc so much that I ended up buying another one just after I lost it. Now I have two P3x putters in different materials.

When I lost the disc I searched for it for a long time but it was hidden in some deep leaves. The clear plastic made it really difficult to locate. I knew about where it was but it took until today for the leaves to rot away enough for me to find it.

If you look really closely you might just spot my purple Tern disc in among the brambles. I have lost two Tern discs on this course and I almost lost this one today but I got really lucky and it landed in a good spot.

I knew exactly what I did not want to do when I threw it but ended up doing it anyway, lol.

The rest of the course I played pretty well and I was more consistent about my throws. All in all it was a great day and perfect weather to be out playing disc golf.

Great post, thank you! I read about playing disc golf the first time! Wonderful! One needs only little equipment to play it.

I find it to be very enjoyable and a great way to get outside and have fun with friends. Your right there is very little equipment to get started and many free courses available to play.

Somebody must not have really looked for the red one.

Interesting how you found your old one and I did see the purple on in the brambles.

Hide and seek... hide and seek. Do you spend more time playing or hunting? :)

Maybe it fell out of someone's pack or something. Possibly someone was practicing and forgot how many drives they threw.

I find more discs when I am out practicing by myself. I used to spend more time looking for my throws but it is not as much of the time now.
