It was nice and warm today. I rode my e-bike down to my favorite disc golf course and played a round of eighteen with my friend. He had his personal best score and I did pretty good too. Not a personal best but a one over par on the eighteen was good for me.
I did not lose a disc in the river, YAH! Lol, I've been having some issues with the wind and bad shanks recently, having lost three discs on hole eight. I've decided it is best to throw a more under-stable disc on a forehand line for safety. The worst that might happen is a cut roller that might get close to the river but more often the disc is going to head too far left. That will not give a chance for a birdie but at least it won't go in the river.
I have a bunch of under-stable discs that I can choose from that I could use for this hole and not worry too much about losing. I tend to find a lot of them in less premium plastic.
Here's a picture that I took today of the course:
The city workers mowed along the river and cut down all the bramble bushes. It should be a lot easier to find lost discs now. I took a quick look to see if any of my lost discs were there but no luck. Maybe if the river gets clear and goes down a bit they might show up.
