My Actifit Report Card: October 7 2020

It was a rather misty morning followed by a rather dreary day today. I like the fog and took this photo this morning:

Since I've been doing a lot of steps recently I decided to take the day off from disc golf and just take the puppy for a walk. The rest of the steps were from doing a few things around the house.

It still smells a bit like smoke sometimes and that helped make my decision to stay home for the day.

I've been interested in some of the decentralized finance going on with the tokens on Etherium. I just learned a bit about MKR and DAI that sounded pretty interesting. I don't really understand it very well at this time but it sounds like a way to create a dollar pegged coin using other crypto as collateral. Here's another video someone made that explains things:

I'm planning to watch it over and read up more about it until I understand it a bit better. I think that if the fees on Ethereum come down after the planned mid November upgrade I might get more interested in some of the decentralized finance type things. They sure seemed to be getting a lot of popularity recently.
