My son and I and a couple of friends played an eighteen basket round at our favorite course. My son and I both scored pretty well at +2 each.
I ended up losing a disc in the river on hole fifteen and my friend lost one too today on hole ten as I recall. I usually don't lose discs on this one but today I was trying to birdie the hole and put a lot of extra power on the throw. It ended up turning a bit more than I wanted and was turning out just a little too much towards the river. It really wasn't a bad throw but the disc was not stable enough to deal with it. There was not much wind today but it still flipped up to anhyzer and curved out towards the river.
I might be able to find it tomorrow. We really didn't spend much time looking for it and there is a chance it made it close enough to the river bank to land in the rough. If not, maybe I know what to ask for as a Christmas gift, lol.
I really like the Sword disc that I lost, I had just found it recently over on another course. It was getting a bit understable for some reason though. I was using it as my main driver for some time and it might have got hit into some trees or something.
For now I put another Shyrke disc in the bag. It is nice that I have a few spares. This particular Shryke is pretty understable and might work as a reasonable replacement for the Sword disc I lost. It is a faster speed though and not as easy to control.
Anyhow, not much else was happening with me today. Just the usual walking the dog and such.
Here's a recent picture of the puppy:
You might recognize this one. I added a few modifications to the photo in GIMP. (It has been pretty grey sky recently so I'm not in the mood to take pictures and am recycling them, lol.)
