My Actifit Report Card: A walk to the farmer's market and beating the rain back home!

It's been raining all week and when I woke up today to a beautiful sunny day I thought it was a great opportunity to take a long walk to the farmer's market I like to get my groceries at.

It was a great walk despite the heat and I because I made it to the market earlier than usual, I decided to spend some time checking out all the stands even after I was done shopping.

After that I stopped at one of the stands to eat "Pastel", a Brazilian delicacy that I'm crazy about! Even though it was before noon, the stand was already full of people buying their beloved pastel.

After I ate, I noticed some clouds forming and I immediately started the 30-ish minute walk back home, hoping I could get home before the rain. It looked like it was gonna be a heavy one!

I made home safe and dry but had I taken longer to start the wall back I wouldn't have been so lucky because minutes after I got home, the skies fell down on a big summer storm!

I'm glad it rained because it's been really dry around here and the reservoirs levels are critically low but I'm even more glad I made home in time!
