My Actifit Report Card: October 9 2020

Half my day was pretty calm, I worked at home on my computer.

I just knew I needed to do 2 things in the day except working on my computer. There things are that :

• Tanking my two Boxing gloves, walk 100 meters and sell it to someone.
  

• Walk to my school, turn on a computer, run a software start an export, and send the video.

BUT. Everything have been troubled. 😩

Normally, I would have see the guy to sell my gloves at 4:20 pm because I couldn't do it at 5 because I was supposed to be at school. He was ok with that. But he arrives at 4:55, 600m aways from the point we should have been meeting.😤

So that mean that I ran to my apartment, to prepare my bag ( just taking a hard drive disk ) and go to school. And that's where I see again that I have a really really bad Cardio. I ran for like 2 minutes and I was really breathing loudly. I tried to run fast so maybe if I tried to have a better rythme I could last longer 🤔

At a moment a saw a spider so I decided to make a picture of it, and it was maybe just an excuse to make a pause.

It may not seem but she's pretty long. The body is really tiny but her legs are reaaaaly long, something like 6 cm for the longer.

Here's another problem !
When I arrived, the room I should have take was taken. The group which was supposed to leave at 5 was still here and I waited they finished the color grading of their short movie.

That was great to meet some new students and they were really nice, they tried to be faster to give me the room as soon as possible.

The reason why I needed to come just for exporting a video is :

A group was, as every others, finishing his movie. For the color grading, they don't gave to work to the editors, the director of photography did it. During this time, the two editors weren't needed at all, so one of them came back to his town while the other worked on a shooting. 🎥

He made it well but when came the export, the software crashed everytime at 80% of the work. And the DOP didn't know how to solve this problem and needed an expert. 😎

The problem is here, during this shooting where was one of the editors, one of the technicians made a Covid test and is infected. So the editor, called me because now he's waiting for his results after the test.🤧

When I could use the computer, access to every files I needed, and tested every fix I knew, I didn't solve the problem. So I made like everytime I have a problem with my computer. I juste made a Google search.

And it appears that DOPs don't know how to make searches on the internet because I found a solution in less than 3 minutes, including the time to read people explaining their issues to be sure to have the same. 🖥️🖱️

I solved it, I exported it, I sent it and, it's all good. Now they have their movie, and I have my 12€ for my gloves. 🥊

My steps are also due to my walking at school, I was looking for a technician to talk with him and I looked for him everywhere In the building. 5 minutes after stopping to look for him, he went to the room I was working on to say to me he was also looking for me 😅
