Hello Hivers, I hope you are well while reading me, and if not, you get a little happy here with my publication, well what I'm going hahaha, these days I was talking with @lucianav and we talked about Youtube concert videos, which is like a very small way to experience what you can live in a live performance of the favorite artists that we each have, so I came up with this idea for an initiative, to show here 5 artists of whom you would like to be in a concert, no matter if they no longer work as artists, if they have passed away, if they are in other countries, because that is the idea, to make known here among us what are our desires to see our favorite artist live. Without anything else to add, here are the 5 artists I chose:

Hola Hiveros, espero que estén bien mientras me leen, y si no, te alegres un poco aquí con mi publicación, bueno a lo que voy jajaja, estos días estaba hablando con @lucianav y conversamos acerca de los videos de conciertos de Youtube, que es como una manera muy pequeña de experimentar lo que se puede vivir en una presentación en vivo de los artistas favoritos que tenemos cada quien, así que se me ocurrió esta idea para una iniciativa, mostrar acá 5 artistas de los cuales quisieras estar en un concierto, no importa si ya no trabajan como artistas, si han fallecido, si están en otros países, porque esa es la idea, dar a conocer acá entre nosotros cuales son nuestros deseos de poder ver a nuestro artista favorito en vivo. Sin nada más que añadir aquí les muestro los 5 artistas que escogí:

Jean Dawson

Jean Dawson is a 24 year old artist, who excels in his musical and visual works, being very skilled in both, as you will see in his music videos and photos, he is very creative in everything he does and one of the aspects that makes him shine since 2019 when he released his first LP. Half Mexican and half African-American, Jean grew up in Tijuana and has been obsessed with music since he walked five hours a day across the U.S.-Mexico border to attend school in the United States.

Jean Dawson es un artista de 24 años, que se destaca en sus trabajos musicales y visuales, siendo muy habilidoso en las dos, como lo podrás ver en sus videos musicales y sus fotos, es muy creativo en todo lo que hace y uno de los aspectos que lo hace brillar desde el 2019 que saco su primer LP. Jean es mitad mexicano y mitad afroamericano, Jean se crio en Tijuana y se ha obsesionado con la música desde que caminaba cinco horas diarias a trabes de la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos para asistir a la escuela en ese país.

Jean Dawson is one of the latest artists I've listened to, I love how his music uses a lot of guitar licks plus pop beats combined with hip hop, popular internet music sounds like the ones you hear in your commercials, shoegaze, indie rock, it's a very unique explosion of sounds where every song he makes is unique among all, plus his voice is very nice to listen to and he can sing in Spanish too hahaha, his lyrics are very good and most of them are positive. I love the sounds he represents, he is a new air in the hip hop scene, from all these artists that do the same thing over and over again, the repetitive bases, the ways of singing all similar, without bringing something new to the scene, to that scene that the Mumble Rappers abused with their monotonism. The few live performances he has had, he uses a lot of light games with fluorescent colors, besides using other musicians to support him on guitars and bass, while he sings his great songs, it all looks like a presentation of the 90's with current internet pop music.

Jean Dawson es uno de los últimos artistas que he escuchado, me encanta como su música usa muchos toques de guitarra además de beats de pop combinados con hip hop, sonidos de música popular de internet de esas que escuchas en tus anuncios publicitarios, shoegaze, indie rock, es una explosión muy única de sonidos donde cada canción que hace es única entre todas, además su voz es muy agradable de escuchar y puede cantar en español también jajaja, sus letras son muy buenas y la gran mayoría son positivas. Amo los sonidos que representa, es un aire nuevo en la escena del hip hop, de todos estos artistas que hacen lo mismo una y otra vez, las bases repetitivas, las maneras de cantar todas similares, sin aportar algo nuevo a la escena, a esa escena que los Mumble Rappers abusaron con su monotonismo. Las pocas presentaciones en vivo que ha tenido usa muchos juegos de luces con colores fluorescentes, además de usar otros músicos para apoyarlo en las guitarras y el bajo, mientras canta sus canciones geniales, se ve todo como si fuera una presentación de los 90 con música de pop internet actual.

Otoboke Beaver

Otoboke Beaver is a very rare Punk Rock band formed by 4 women from Kyoto, Japan. According to them the band performs an aggressive and fast Punk-Rock style, with frequent tempo and speed changes, imitating many rock genres among their songs being a very special characteristic of them, accompanied by screaming and manly vocals in addition to their charming female voices. Their songs contain themes about love and love relationships, often based on the experiences of lead singer Accorinrinrin.

Otoboke Beaver es una banda muy rara de Punk Rock conformada por 4 mujeres provenientes de Kioto, Japon. Según ellas la banda interpreta un estilo de Punk-Rock agresivo y rápido, con frecuentes cambios de tempo y de velocidad, imitando muchos géneros de rock entre sus canciones siendo esta una característica muy especial de ellas, acompañado de gritos y voces varoniles además de sus voces encantadoras de mujer. Sus canciones contienen temas acerca del amor y las relaciones amorosas, a menudo basados en las experiencias de la cantante principal Accorinrin.

Their live performances are crazy, besides all of them always wearing cheerful and pink colorful dresses, they end up going crazy singing and playing their instruments on stage, Yoyoshie who is the lead guitarist always throwing herself into the audience and doing her magnificent riffs, Accorinrin making the screams louder than many men and charming you with her lovely girl voice too, Kahokiss with her splendid drumming and supporting vocals and Hiro-chan constantly playing with bare feet and a vibe that infects you too much. They also improvise very unique guitar riffs live, releasing songs they haven't released and so on, always carrying their unique style of having a wide range of sounds.

Sus presentaciones en vivo son una locura, además de que todas usan siempre vestidos con colores alegras y rosas, terminan volviéndose locas cantando y tocando sus instrumentos en el escenario, Yoyoshie que es la guitarrista principal siempre lanzándose al público y haciendo sus magníficos riffs, Accorinrin haciendo los gritos más fuertes que muchos hombres y encantándote con su voz de niña encantadora también, Kahokiss con su batería esplendida y apoyando en las vocales y Hiro-chan constantemente tocando con los pies descalzos y una vibra que te contagia demasiado. También improvisan en vivo riffs de guitarras muy únicos, soltando canciones que no han sacado y demás cosas, siempre llevando su estilo único de tener una amplia gama de sonidos.

IDLES

IDLES are an English rock band formed in Bristol in 2009. The band is formed by Joe Talbot (vocals), Mark Bowen (guitar), Lee Kiernan (guitar), Adam Devonshire (bass) and Jon Beavis (drums). It's one of my favorite bands and I love them with all my heart, it's been three times that I relate it in music post hahaha, I'm sorry is that they really deserve all my appreciation, their songs contain a very contagious energy that makes you all energetic just listening to them for a few seconds, besides having very nice lyrics that deal with very current issues about problems of society and you as an individual.

IDLES son una banda de rock inglesa formada en Bristol en 2009 La banda está formada por Joe Talbot (voz), Mark Bowen (guitarra), Lee Kiernan (guitarra), Adam Devonshire (bajo) y Jon Beavis (batería). Es una de mis bandas favoritos y las amo con todo mi corazón, ya van tres veces que la relaciono en post de música jajaja, lo siento es que de verdad se merecen todo mi aprecio, sus canciones contienen una energía demasiado contagiosa que te vuelve todo energético de tan solo escucharlas unos segundos, además de contar con letras muy amables que tratan de temas muy actuales sobre problemas de la sociedad y de ti como individuó.

Why not go to one of their concerts? It is one of my biggest dreams, just to be there would be a unique experience, even more if it is one of those small venues where they also play, because they are very friendly and play anywhere they are asked to, so I could have a greeting with them and thank them for their music that has left me enchanted for many days. The energy that radiates on stage is magnificent, it is of union, of joy, of enjoyment, even in their most depressive songs they have a story of getting up and moving forward, it is something very wonderful what this band does in their music, it is to be expected that their live performances are a unique event as well.

¿Porque no ir a uno de sus conciertos? Es uno de mis sueños más grandes, el solo estar allí seria una experiencia única, mas aun si es uno de esos locales pequeños donde también acostumbran a tocar, porque ellos son muy amables y tocan en cualquier lugar que le pidan, así podría tener un saludo con ellos y agradecerles por su música que me ha dejado encantando por muchos días. La energía que se irradia en el escenario es magnífica, es de unión, de alegría, de disfrute, incluso en sus temas más depresivos tiene una historia de levantarse y seguir adelante, es algo muy maravilloso lo que hace esta banda en sus músicas, es de esperar que sus presentaciones en vivo sean un evento único también.

Nirvana

Nirvana, who doesn't know Nirvana? Hahaha, that band that emerged from that small town of Aberdeen, Washington in 1987, which is composed of singer, songwriter and guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic and the mythical Dave Grohl's drums. The success of Nirvana was too big in such a short time touching the hearts of that Generation X, where the recurring themes were love and drug abuse, plus other ironic songs and criticisms against the abuse of women, so great they were that they still continue to influence the current culture of Rock.

Nirvana, ¿quién no conoce a nirvana? Jajaja, aquella banda que surgió de ese pequeño pueblo de Aberdeen, Washington en 1987, que está compuesta por el cantante, compositor y guitarrista Kurt Cobain, el bajista Krist Novoselic y las baterías del mítico Dave Grohl. El éxito de Nirvana fue demasiado grande en tan poco tiempo tocando los corazones de esa Generación X, donde los temas recurrentes eran el amor y el abuso de drogas, además de otras canciones irónicas y criticas en contra del abuso a la mujer, tan así de grandes fueron que aun siguen influyendo en la cultura actual del Rock.

Well I have not talked about them before but it is because surely many people have already talked about them, but for me it is something that could not go unnoticed here in this post of live performances, much of my personality is Nirvana in all its short but important musical career, but why? Simple, they did whatever they wanted and they always criticized all those things that were wrong in society satirizing them, like women abuse, fragile masculinity, drug abuse. I love how Kurt sang in his shows depending on the situation he played in different ways, one time they made him play with the song recorded in the background and he just played dumb with Krist and Dave, ruining the show because he was just playing live music, also other times where the guitar was out of tune and he was screaming out of tune hahaha, besides wearing dresses in the shows, there are too many things to talk about Kurt's concerts, honestly they were always crazy and I would have loved to have gone to one of his concerts.

Bueno no he hablado de ellos con anterioridad pero es porque seguro ya mucha gente hablo de ellos, pero para mí es algo que no podía pasar desapercibido acá en este post de presentaciones en vivo, gran parte de mi personalidad es Nirvana en toda su corta pero importante trayectoria musical, pero ¿Por qué? Simple, hacían lo que les daba la gana y siempre criticaban todas esas cosas que estaban mal en la sociedad satirizándolas, como el abuso a las mujeres, la masculinidad frágil, el abuso a las drogas. Me encanta como Kurt cantaba en sus presentaciones depende a la situación tocaba de maneras diferentes, una vez lo hicieron tocar con la canción grabada de fondo y el solo hizo el tonto con Krist y Dave, arruinando la presentación por el solo tocaba música en vivo, además otras veces donde la guitarra se desafino y el gritaba todo desafinado jajaja, además de usar vestidos en las presentaciones, hay demasiadas cosas por las que hablar de los conciertos de kurt, sinceramente siempre fueron una locura y me hubiese gustado demasiado haber ido a alguno de sus conciertos.

Death Grips

And I could not miss my favorite group of all, the most original and special for me, it is Death Grips, experimental hip hop band that was born in 2010, originally from Sacramento, California. This group is formed by rapper and vocalist Stefan Burnett, also known by his stage name MC Ride, drummer and producer Zach Hill and keyboardist and producer Andy Morin, also known as Flatlander among fans. The music is a strange combination of sounds in which hip hop, industrial, noise, and in addition to having a very punk aesthetic where the vocalist uses many screams in his lyrics, the drummer always destroying the drums and the keyboardist placing sounds very destroyed by synthesizer and guitars very strong, plus very weird sounds that make you think is this music for drug addicts?

Y no podía faltar mi grupo favorito de todos, el más original y especial para mí, se trata de Death Grips, banda de hip hop experimental que nació en el 2010, originaria de Sacramento, California. Este grupo está conformado por el rapero y vocalista Stefan Burnett, conocido también por su nombre artístico MC Ride, el baterista y productor Zach Hill y el tecladista y productor Andy Morin, también llamado Flatlander entre los fans. La música es una combinación extraña de sonidos en los cuales se destaca el hip hop, el industrial, noise, y además de tener una estética muy punk donde el vocalista usa muchos gritos en sus liricas, el baterista siempre destruyendo a golpes la batería y el tecladista colocando sonidos muy destruidos por sintetizador y guitarras muy fuertes, además de sonidos muy raros que te hacen pensar ¿Esta música es de drogadictos?

The live performances are totally crazy, they push the limits of everything possible, sometimes the vocalist has sung with blindfolds on, the drummer Zach Hill has put on handcuffs to play the drums like this, Andy Morin improvises live with the same sounds that are created there and forms a great power of sound with many things happening at once, there have been times where the public goes up on stage and MC Ride throws them back to the public, also MC has thrown himself to the public, something that is very rare in him as he is always far away from people and does not like to interact closely with his audience, occasions where he throws himself on the floor of the stage where he sings so loud and touches very delicate topics like depression or suicide with a face of total suffering, MC Ride on stage is one person, Stefan Burnett is another, his artistic persona takes over, the whole group always gives a unique show and worth seeing in each of their presentations, and I would definitely like one day to be there enjoying their Shows.

Las presentaciones en vivo son una total locura, empujan los limites de todo lo posible, en ocasiones el vocalista ha cantado con vendas en los ojos, el baterista Zach Hill se ha colocado esposas para tocar la batería así, Andy Morin improvisa en vivo con los mismos sonidos que allí se van creando y forma un gran poder de sonido con muchas cosas pasando a la vez, ha habido ocasiones donde el publico sube a la tarima y el MC Ride los lanza de nuevo al publico, también MC se ha lanzado al público, algo que es muy raro en el ya que siempre está lejos de las personas y no le gusta interactuar de cerca con su público, ocasiones donde se lanza al piso de la tarima donde canta tan fuerte y toca temas muy delicados como la depresión o el suicidio con una cara de total sufrimiento, MC Ride en el escenario es una persona, Stefan Burnett es otra, su personaje artístico se apodera del, el grupo entero siempre da un espectáculo único y digno de ver en cada una de sus presentaciones, y definitivamente quisiera un día estar allí disfrutando de sus Shows.
