How to edit MP3 (Wav) tags of your music | How to add cover image to audio file

Hi guys! Faced such issues as editing audio tags. Before sending our track to the radio, we were asked to fill in the tags. Also, I think, if an audio file has its cover image, it looks more professional. So in this post, I show you a simple way how I add these tags.

First, what are the tags you talk about?

Tags are additional information about the song that is displayed in the operating system of your computer or smartphone. It looks like this:

It is an audio file. Look how it's cool looking on Desctop in Win10. On smartphones, it also will have a cover image.

Then, let's look at what info have this file.

Title, author name, Year, Style. Also, you can set additional tags if you want. And its info also shows on your smartphone. I think, if you are a musician and do music, it's important and solidly have this, but not a noname file.

Ok, how to do this

I didn't find standard soft for this, but I find free simple soft by Deutch developers.

So, first, click ctrl+D to show the folder with the track and click on your track:

Fill your info:

To add cover image, right-click on the black img.

So now its look more professional!

But how to add more info about Bpm and etc? One sec!

Here we go:

Right click>Customize

Add new field

Choose field what you want and add to panel

Now its field is with you. Tempo info is useful for DJs.

And an important moment, its click to save it!
