Alec Rowley: Coquet

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hello,
In this video I am trying out my new piano and what would be the best angle to record the sound. Maybe it was too loud in some moments, I will keep searching for the best record option. This joyful piece that I play is Coquet, from Poetical Studies op. 41, composed by an English composer, Alec Rowley. He was born in London in 1892 and died in Shepperton in 1958. During his life, he composed a huge number of educational pieces, two piano concertos, an oboe concerto, Rhapsody for viola and orchestra, two symphonies for organ, songs, and choral pieces, and many other works.

The angle is beautiful, but I think the audio is peaking a bit, maybe it's my computer speakers though. Anyway, lovely piece and playing!!
