Seeing as I pretty much destroyed my own website (don't ask), I guess I'll keep blogging on PeakD for the foreseeable future as my web developer looks to sort out the mess I created! Oops sorry!

As I mentioned yesterday, work has pretty much got me pinned down at the moment and finding it increasingly difficult to get online but I'm determined to get through the final week of #hiveblopomo! After that, chilling like a villain in offline limbo (that's limbo, not lambo crypto friends haha)!

So I wanted to share this track with you today which continues the theme of "escaping as this "old but gold" tune I made a few years ago popped up on my timeline. The picture is one I took when I went travelling to Australia in 2015 to Whitehaven Islands and the sand was SO fine, bright and white!

In fact, a couple from USA that were on the adventure tour with us took some of their jewelry with them to the beach and used the fine sand, which is about 99% pure Silica, to clean their silver watches, necklaces and bracelets! It was quite amusing but hey, why not use what's naturally available to you!

Anyway, back to the tune.

The original is by a German producer who goes by the name of Brukah and he wanted to make a track about his home town on the coast called Ostseeküste (Ost-say-koo-sta). If you listen in, you can hear the seagulls and the waves crashing in to the shore, although I've never been there, the sounds of the coast can't be beaten in my opinion. I've always been drawn to the coastline and is probably why I enjoy Cornwall so much.

So I reached out to the guy and asked if I could remix it, he said "yeah sure" and I posted it up as a free download a few years ago!

Hope you enjoy the track, you can download it by clicking on the down arrow in the player below.

Where's your favourite coastline? Do you live near the coast yourself? Let me know in the comments below!

Take care

Nicky
