Hello music lovers! πŸ“» 🎧 🎀 🎢 🎼 πŸ“’

I'm back, full in action :)
Last 10 days I listened to a lot, almost don't have time to posting. But when I looked back today, huh, under the #newtunes tag I posted 39 posts.
Not so bad, what do you say?

Well, with the music we are moving forward into the New Year, which will, I hope, be better than the previous one.

I've prepared something for today and if you like it's cool, I even thought about going to Spotify and doing playlists there and posting them here but, I think YT is still a bigger music archive ...

Auscultation - Turn Down These Voices

Auscultation is just one of the presences of electronic musician and producer Joel Shanahan, who has roots in the madison punk and DIY communities, Wisconsin. He incorporates pieces of jazz, cosmic sounds, and ambience into his minimalist techno. Maybe it swings towards Cocteau Twins style. This is from his latest album Auscultation III.

Henzo - For Your Consideration (Gym Mix)

Henzo is a Manchester house and hip hop producer, I check this tune because in terms of style and minimal rhythm, it reminds me a lot of the Orbital piece Said but true from the cult (for me) movie Johny Mnemonic.

Love as Laughter - Crosseyed Beautiful Youngunz

Nice, easy, and positive melodies from this indie rock band which started in 1994. Unfortunately, Sam Jayne, leader of this indie rock band found dead in his car on the 15th of December 2020. R.I.P.

Placebo - Every You Every Me (Official Audio)

I'm not a fan of this band, I don't follow it very often but this tune is for everyone, on many levels. It is one of those songs that you repeat and sings to yourself for hours after listening to.

Lucidvox - Body

Russian Lucidvox is a female response to the atmospheric psycho-rock and a slightly doomeric melodic style. I like the style and I'll follow them in the future. I'm sure the girls have a lot more to say.

Pink Floyd - Set The Controls for the Heart of the Sun

This is fresh, the presentation was in October 2020 but it's old and very rare. Re-edited, restored, and remixed. It's from a French TV show in June 1971, at The Abbaye de Royaumont, Asnierès-sur-Oise, France.
One of the better performances of this song if you ask me. Yeah, I'm a Pink Floyd fan, my third album I bought in life (when I was in primary school) was A Nice Pair.

Iggy Pop - Dirty Little Virus

This is the latest from Iggy, released on December 21st. So, the solution for covid19 is Iggy Pop :)

Body Count - Cop Killer

Ice-T and his friends wrote this song in 1992 in response to police brutality in the LA area. And this song is still current. Has anything changed at all?

Holidays are always good for digging into things we love. Though I also love music, I couldn't find the time to go discover new materials. That said, have been connecting with quite a few users in our community on the topic of music, so at least something done during the holidays that makes me feel happy :)

Nice combo of music you shared here. Wide range of genres, and some golden oldies!

Yes, holidays are good but as I said - music is always a holiday. Thank you for the comment and all the best for New Year.
btw: I have already collected some new songs for the next post. 😎
