I'm @shawnnft. This is my post for the #threetunetuesday playlist which is a contest hosted by @ablaze. Today, I will feature 3 underrated songs from 3OH!3. I chose some of their not so famous songs. Some of the famous songs you might know from them are Don't Trust Me, Starstrukk and My First Kiss. There's a high chance you probably never heard of these 3 songs I will be sharing today.

The first song I chose is R.I.P by 3OH!3. It's a simple song about a girl breaking up with a guy and telling him to move on. The girl left happily and the guy is left with all the bad memories that are permanently in his mind which can be assumed from the lyrics "so you can keep the necklace that I gave to you, I'll keep the shitty tattoos. I believe in this song the guy finally accepts that it's over with her hence the R.I.P saying rest in peace for the relationship they had together.

The second song I chose is I'm Not The One by 3OH!3. This lyrics in this song is super deep even though it seems simple and repeats. The lyrics don't exactly mean what they say; I believe it's a figure of speech for some of the lyrics. For example, "the doctors hiding the charts, he won't let me see the side of you". This could probably mean the person just doesn't want to show their real feelings and they are putting on a fake smile. My interpretation of this song is that someone was hurt from bullying, bad relationship etc. Then the guy just wants to help them out of their dark times but the person that was hurt can't seem to trust anybody after what happened to them. I could be wrong but that's the beauty of the song. You can interpret it many different ways.

Finally, the last song I chose is We Are Young by 3OH!3. Basically, this song is about how when we are young, we can do stupid things. This can be inferred from the lyrics "we drink and we fight and we love just because we are numb". I believe this is just a fun song reminding us to enjoy our youth. It's ok to make mistakes and do stupid things at least we get the experience.
