Greetings to all minimalism lovers! Joy I join this new call to comment a little bit about if I had to reduce the size of my things and give up most of my possessions, what would be those 5 things I could not give up?

I must say that I went through this situation once before and it was not easy at all. I got sick and in order to get medical treatment I had to travel to another country and leave everything behind, I couldn't even carry the 20 kilograms of luggage allowed with my plane ticket since I couldn't carry this weight so what I could carry was literally the essentials. Now I share with you my list with the 4 items that are indispensable for me and the last one I have decided to add since experience has taught me that I cannot live without these items.

This mobile device, although small, has everything I need, it is my library, my music player, informer of current global news. It is my camera and allows me to communicate with my family and friends. If I have my phone I don't need a computer because I can even work from my smartphone.

𝑀𝑦 𝑐𝑜𝑎𝑡

Before I got sick, I could enjoy rainy and cold days without any problems, now it is so necessary for me to keep warm when the weather turns wet, otherwise my body feels weak and pain takes over. So something that I consider very necessary is a coat. I like this one I have, it's light, wool and I can wear it even when it's not cold and it keeps me warm and comfortable.

𝑀𝑦 𝑊𝑜𝑜𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑡

As I said, now I am not very tolerant to cold, and especially in the nights when the temperature drops I like to wrap my head with a wool hat, so I feel more comfortable to sleep. Maybe it's a hobby of mine but if I don't have my hat I can't sleep and the next day I'm sure I'll have a headache. So this personal item is a must for me.

𝑀𝑦 𝑡𝑜𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑏𝑎𝑔

This small bag contains the toiletries I normally use: toothbrush, dental floss, moisturizer for my body as my skin gets very dry, deodorant, shampoo and hand soap. But the most important thing I have in this case are my palliative medicines, since in times of crisis they are the ones that calm my pain and I never go out without them.
I think that personal hygiene is very important, I would not want to be without any of these products.

𝑀𝑦 𝑐𝑟𝑎𝑓𝑡 𝑏𝑜𝑥

This is a small plastic box in which I keep my basic craft tools: crayons, markers, scissors, pencil, pencil, watercolors and paintbrush. I just need a moment to activate my creativity and achieve good results. I have been a crafter since my first steps in this life and it is very difficult for me to get rid of this box.

When I had to leave for the hospital I could not take this box with me. My mother had to make me a craft kit and send it to me by parcel so I could paint and distract my mind in the hospital, so if I have to travel again I won't forget my craft box.

I think this experience has given me the opportunity to learn how to live with the essentials. I was in the hospital for 21 months and during that time I only had pajamas, which were the most comfortable clothes I had, and these items on my list. The rest was supplied by the hospital and what they didn't give me and what I needed I got on the spot.
