Swamps of Russia (continued)

Try to close your eyes and mentally say the word BOLOTO (SWAMP). I wonder what kind of picture appeared before your eyes. Don't tell me about the Baskervilles dog. Three weeks ago I started showing you one of the swamps. But an eco-trail has been organized for him. Yes, you can walk into the swamp in your regular sneakers without risking getting your feet wet. Unless, of course, you yourself do not turn somewhere

Три недели назад я начинал показывать вам одно из болот. Но нему организована эко-тропа. Да, вы можете пойти в болото в обычных кроссовках не рискуя промочить ноги. Если, конечно, сами куда-нибудь не свернёте.

The grass in the swamp looks like a lush haircut. I had a desire to lie in this silky bed.

But the trail led on.

A pine spit juts into this swamp. The long ridge of the hillock stretches long enough. And there is no need for flooring. The trail is solid and dry like in a real pine forest.

And a real swamp stretches to the left and right. There, of course, you can go (for example, for cranberries), but you need high rubber boots.

The buildings of Sestroretsk are visible through the swamp.

The day was very sunny. I even suspect increased solar activity. It's very good for a walk, which cannot be said about photography. Very hard shadows. So, the photo shoot turned out to be more reportage than artistic.

I won't say anything more, just look at the photo and imagine that you are among the pine trees and swamps.

In fact, we have not yet passed half the way along our eco-trail. So there is much more to come.
