Wild river

Why I love wild places ... you never know what awaits you around the next corner. This is the Lizard River. In the summer heat, it becomes very shallow. I could not walk far along its banks. They are overgrown with bushes and wild grass, and at the water's edge the shores are clayey and muddy. But I was able to walk right along the river bed itself, sometimes getting ashore

За что я люблю дикие мета... ты никогда не знаешь, что тебя ждёт за следующим поворотом. Это река Ящера. В летнюю жару она становится очень мелкой. Я не смог бы идти по её берегам далеко. Они заросли кустарником и дикой травой, а у кромки воды берега глинистые и топкие. Но я смог идти прямо по руслу самой реки иногда выбираясь на берег

I found these photos in one of my archives. It is useful to visit the archive sometimes. Everything new is well forgotten old.

I even found a small sand cave there. Maybe someone lives there, but I did not find any fresh traces.

I'll have to visit these places again.
