Magical Moments on the Coast

Back in december of last year I went down to one of my favourite spots for sunset.

I still can't believe how quickly this year has flown by. It feels like I was only just down there for this particular sunset.

I got my brother to come along with me, and we drove down (it's about a 25 minute drive here) and walked a little way along the beach to get here.

I think this is one of the most underrated spots along the great ocean road and it is so beautiful. I couldn't believe when I saw photos of this spot that it was so close to home!

It's a little tricky here, because the sun doesn't rise or set directly behind these apostles at any point throughout the year, so I was lucky to get a bit of a glow when I did.

I hope you enjoy this image, and make sure to follow along to see some more images from down this way!

Thanks for taking the time to read this :) :)

OMG! that's such an amazing place (and an amazing photo!!)
Honestly, if I would be living near that spot, I think I'd even sleep there quite a lot while waiting for photos...
Can I ask where (approximately) this is?

That image is wild! Breathtaking and otherworldy. I could see that spot being used to film some alien planet or something. 😂 Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Thanks! I could definitely see it being used in a sci fi film! Some people think that the middle apostle looks like the front of a ship :)

Now that you mention it, it does! If you've read Stormlight Archive this looks like something out of that setting. 🙂

Thank you! It definitely is amazing, but I’m sure you have some beautiful scenery where you live that I’d be jealous of :)

That Warrnambool way? Is that where you live? It always thrills me to find another Aussie here - let alone a Vicco, let alone someone close to GOR - we're just behind Surfcoast.

Yes it is, probably 20 minutes away :) yeh I’m a local Victorian, I live about 30 minutes from Warrnambool, good to find a fellow Aussie on here

There's not an awful lot! Conciouscat and newthings in Brisi, Galenkp, mattclarke, minismallholding, shaidom in SA, melbourneswest in.. well, Melbourne!, ausbitbank (witness) in Brisi, and there's a good handful of others! So yeah I'm always pleased to find them as well.

We went to magic rock at warnambool for the first time a few months back. There's some awesome places down there!
