PHILIPPINES SUNSET; Panagsama beach Moalboal.

Sunsets are a strange thing, you never know what you are going to get, sometimes you expect a good one and it just doesn't happen. Tonight it was a bit slow to get going, as the sun set over the mountains Kumar paddled past on his SUP (stand up paddleboard).

Put your back into it fella!

As the sun dropped further behind Mt Kanlaon in the distance it seemed it would come to nothing.

Our local active volcano.

Then the colour started to build.

A few minutes later and a change of angle and the colours were amazing, mother nature just loves to throw you a treat every now and then.

Well worth the wait.

I would say yes, that was really worth the wait. I liked the beginning shot as the sun was just starting to drop below, and the spiky rays beginning to show, but that last colorful shot is just amazing.

And as the sun sunk behind the mountains I sank a few beers, it doesn't get much better:)

I wish we had more warm sunsets to enjoy, but from the front seat of a car is still a nice thing when it is cold out and snow covers the ground. We get about two months a year for semi warm, can get out of the car for more than 10 minutes at a time and take sunset pictures, April and September.
