Exciting and Somewhat Eerie

As I continued my hike around the wetlands the scenery continued to impress! At this point I was meandering around the perimetre near the water, not even sure where or when I was going to circle back. Kind of like an explorer in a new land! Hiking a trail for the first time usually is the most exciting thing one can do really, especially when you are on your own and no other hikers are on the trail. Exciting, and somewhat eerie. Usually I am able to follow the trails, however once in awhile I lose my way, but ultimately make it back.

I like that third colored picture, the one that the leaves are floating ontop, the angle of the picture helps anyone to easily see through the water and everything on top of the water.
Yeah, I think hiking a new trail means newer opportunities to take pictures you've not taken or sights you've not seen before, so it's honestly understandable.

In this one you've broken thousands of rules of composition, perspective, balance, everything... And that's why it's a photo that makes you feel like you're right there looking at that tree on the hill and listening to the wind moving the clouds... And so, in black and white, this is an absolute "auteur photograph"... You, my talented friend, as I've said before: You're a bit like a street photographer unleashed in nature...

Hmm 🤔, I know what that's like, I've been there!... 😂

When you instinctively take photos like this, you're not aware that you're creating images that immediately impact the viewer's gaze and psyche. You'll only become aware of this once you accept that you have this rare talent, when others point it out to you...

It's happened to me several times already; some people talk to me about my photos using descriptions that seem exaggerated to me. But over time, I've learned to accept that I do photographic work that sparks interest and is appreciated by others. This has helped me grow as a photographer and as a person, which is why when I see a photo that I think is excellent, I feel the need to say so! 😀🫵...

Your photos, my friend, have your unique signature, and I recognize them as soon as I see them, whether you take them with a camera or a phone. There's a lot of instinct and expression in them... And in cases like today's photo, they're pure art!... Don't doubt it!
