Turquoise / Trees

This is one of my favourite captures from this entire hike. The turquoise lake water, as seen from between these Birch trees. Love it! A welcome treat to end this hiking journey. On this day we hiked up Yates mountain to the Prairie view lookout, then came down via Jewel pass. What a day it was. By this time, I was rather tuckered out, and looking forward to sitting down in the car. It had literally between about 2.5 hours since snack time at the top. A hot tub and a cold beer may be the way to go when I get back to reality. Photos taken by Barrier Lake, Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada. Thanks for stopping by.

The contrast of the different colors makes the image interesting between turquoise blue, green and yellow. This tree before in my country, quite poor people used this wood to make clogs. Being a soft white wood and easy to cut, this wood remained the best for this use.

I always enjoy seeing your pictures, they're fantastic. That first one is a money shot! Absolutely amazing! The water through the birch tress, really cool. Today I would have to go with your color shots, the colors are great!

Probably went a little overboard editing, but this was the look I was going for. Thanks @jlinaresp.
