Distracted and Sleepy ~ Japan Train Life

On the train again, as I often am. I travel a lot for work, so I find myself here often.

When I first arrived here in Japan, sixteen years ago, the trains were full of folks reading newspapers (primarily men) and small a6 sized books (primarily women). Now all of that has been mostly replaced with smartphones.

Well the sleeping is still the same.

Mark this one under fun with fisheye lenses!

Hi thereDavid LaSpina is an American photographer and translator lost in Japan, trying to capture the beauty of this country one photo at a time and searching for the perfect haiku.
