Bright yellow

There is a yellow flower in a pot
It will bloom only when it's hot
Then comes the frost
All petals are lost
And the rest will soon start to rot.

Calendula

It is also called Pot marigold and it is one of the flowers that my mum has in a garden without even sowing them. They will regrow on their own every year in many parts of the vegetable garden. Most are picked and treated as weeds. If we kept them all we would have no space for other plants. The will bloom all summer long until the first frosts and in that time produce hundreds of seeds that spread freely.

The ones that are allowed to stay in some less busy parts or between some bigger veggies that don't mind smaller neighbour.

The flowers are edible, but even though we have them available in large amounts, we have never used it this way. You can just add the flowers or just petals to a salad.
They are also use in cosmetics.

Nice song, interesting...😎
I knew that it was used in cosmetics, but I didn't know the petals were edible 👌

(Edited)

As a medicinal part of the plant is used: Dried flower (Calendulae flos)
Usage: The active ingredients of calendula have an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effect, relieve cramps, act to stop bleeding, accelerate wound healing, polysaccharides have an immunostimulating effect. Marigold extract shows both cytostatic and antitumor activity.
In folk medicine it is used: In the treatment of ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, in disorders of the menstrual cycle and painful menstruation, in hemorrhoids, varicose veins, eczema, and inflammatory processes on the skin
Method of preparation and use of tea: Internal use:
Pour one to two teaspoons of marigold flowers with a cup (200ml) of boiling water. Cover the dish, let it stand for 10-15 minutes and then strain the tea. Drink three times a day per cup of unsweetened tea.

I tried with help of Google T to translate this.

Neven is Calendula. You can find many sites Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian about Calendula-Neven. It is very healthy.
About the taste ...you can use a lot of lemons. It is not so bad, but nothing special as many other healthy things.

Everything develops with practice, + reading classical poets and learning new words, and success in this matter may not be a masterpiece, but it will still be!

There is a problem you see.. I don't really like poetry, nor I read it.
The things I write are just for fun... with silly rhymes stuck in my head for whatever reason.

Well, these silly rhymes, over time, are still expressed more clearly and meaningfully ...
