Clematis escape
I was waiting for this one to bloom. Every year when I see the buds forming and then I miss the flowers and the fluffy seeds they produce. This time I was making sure I see them opening! I wasn't even sure what colour it is, so seeing this rich berry shade made heart sing :)
There is a Barberry bush growing a little bit further. All year round it has amazing dark burgundy leaves - that's what give the nice colours to the background here.
My mum has few of those Clematis plants tucked in different spot in the garden. All in different colour. This one is growing right at the edge at the fence as we want it to climb on it.
And it does...
Higher.. and higher..
Little bit more..
Almost there..
There!
Off to the neighbors garden!
All photos were takes with my brother (and with his permission and blessings) camera and Takumar 50 mm 1.4. It is so much faster to learn all manual focus when you have no other option...
Bonus shot:
A rose bud with not very welcome guests. Those little aphids appear every year in my mum's roses and are real pain. A never ending battle for her...

That’s a very dreamy flower wanting to touch the cloud!
Almost managed! :)
