Earwigs macro (submission for the Photography Lovers contest)

I was happy to see that there was another contest in the Photography Lovers community.
And I also like the subject: Macro

Here's my (amateur) submission for this round:

In my youth I was always scared of these Earwigs because people told they would crawl in your ears and sting me with the things at the end of their back (which they cannot).
When looking at my macro shot they do look interesting with their armoured bodies.
These Earwigs are only a centimeter long.
