Niseko Boarding
(Edited)
Fresh tracks snowboarding down Mt Niseko with Mount Yōtei in the background. Yōtei-zan, literally "sheep-hoof mountain", has not erupted since circa 1050 BC. Hokkaido, Japan.
This is actually a picture of my wife snowboarding, and also my best selling photograph. Simple intersecting lines with a nice balance. Never underestimate how important getting the right balance of space is in a photo.
If you would like to learn a little bit more about my background in photography you can read the interview @photofeed did with me here.

Very great photographer. I felt there. Thank you for sharing a little knowledge about photography.
Thanks
You're welcome
This is a really good shot. I like it a lot. And the fact that it has a personal bent, being an image of your wife, makes it all the more remarkable.
Thanks for Sharing Robert!
Thanks Mike. Good to see you still here !
Loved this place and Hakuba! The powder is insane :)
Yep. Japan is epic. We have been about 10 times over there.
Not surprised it's so popular XD sometimes the simple things are the best (though given the speed you can get when snowboarding I'm not sure how "simple" this was to catch :D).
Thanks. Appreciate all your feedback over the years.
