Greetings. This is my new entry for the great Sun Thursday Contest edition 5, this is an idea proposed by my friend @uwelang. He invites us to put photos whose motive is the sun or its influence in our lives.

In the different deliveries I have combined recent photos and others taken from my personal file. In this opportunity I share with you two very recent photos.

The first one I took one afternoon after a light rain. I saw that formation in the sky and it caught my attention, I saw it as a tongue of fire. Unfortunately it was not in an area where I could have the sky open to take a better picture, so I preferred to take it even though I did not have the best conditions.

With the second picture I had my doubts, I don't know if I fit the specifications of the challenge. I placed it because I understood that it has to do with what the sun means in our lives. It is a photo of an ornamental plant that grows in my garden. Sometimes, in the afternoon, the sun reaches it that way. I have always liked how the camera sees that kind of light. Feel free to tell me if that kind of picture doesn't fit, so I won't make the same mistake the next time.
