Shanghai Skyline, China (4 pics)

Shanghai is not only the biggest city in China, but also an international financial center.

The Bund district is a famous promenade near the water where are aligned buildings of the colonial era.

On the other side of the Huangpu River is the futuristic district of Pudong, which include the 632-meter tall Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV tower, which is characterized by its pink spheres.

Pudong is the most common skyline of Shanghai.

At night, with all the lights on, it is a nice view.

During the day, and from the other side of the Huangpu river, it is really different atmosphere.

I am here in Pudong. You must cross the Huangpu River, facing the Bund, to get there.

Pudong also means "east of the Pu".

Pudong is located on the east bank of the Huang Pu River, “Pu” meaning "riverside" or "beach".

This is the Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower in Shanghai from the Pudong area.

A well known feature of this Chinese city landscape.

If you watch carefully, you will see that it is composed of 11 spheres, big and small.
