Into The Garden

Welcome to part 2 of our tour of The Secret Garden. Part 1 can be found here. When I first saw this treasure a couple years ago, I couldn't believe something so magnificent was constructed in the middle of the woods. It was constructed about 1907 around a diversion channel that was built to supply electricity to the new lodge at the hot springs. This time I have my camera and here are some of the results I was able to capture. 😀

Looking back toward the center from the northern wall. The stone, pillars and fountains gives me the impression of Greek or Roman ruins discovered in the woods.

And finally a shot looking north from near the main entrance. Again I created another panorama without quite enough shots. I think I need a few more on top and bottom. I will get another shot at this though as I plan return trips to see how the garden changes with the seasons. Thanks for following along and enjoy your day!
