Golden Hour: charming sunset over the Pilsudski Bridge in Krakow

It´s my pleasure to come up with yet another contribution to my regular Golden Hour photo series where I share interesting sunset shots with you. Let me show you one of my latest catches.

I happened to witness this beautiful scenery while walking over the Bernatek Footbridge here in Krakow a couple of days ago. The silhouette in the background is that of the Pilsudski Bridge, a massive concrete-iron bridge that was completed and opened in 1933. The bridge was damaged by the German army during the World War II but it was reconstructed in 1948. Weighing in at some 1,200 tons and reaching almost 150 meters (500 ft) in length, it´s one of the largest and also oldest bridges in Krakow.
