Well no "Cinco de Mayo" in Greece but we do celebrate the 1st of May with food, drinks and music on the countryside! I might have the chance to give you some pictures of that, will see :)

We don't have a Cinco de Mayo in Austria, but the 1st of May is our Labour Day, although it is a holiday and nobody's working ;) lol
Maybe if the weather's fine I'll find something to photograph that matches the theme, but I don't have any ideas yet.

I have been working 4 days this week, that's enough 😉
Tomorrow I will get up early and hope to catch a nice sunrise at the reservoir and then I want to have a nice walk in the woods and maybe take some photos.
So, I wish you a great long weekend and take it easy if you really have to work on the Labour Day 😉

This looks like it was a really poor choice on my part. i should have just chosen "Party" or "Alcohol" or something of the like. Honestly, anything will do.

Hm, "anything will do" sounds much better, but we have some pretty cold and rainy days and my mood for photographing is in the cellar at the moment.
This is also a reason why I'm digging in my archive for photos to post ;)
But an idea has come into my mind right before, I'm not sure if it will work though.

Have a great Sunday 🙂

Labour Day, although nobody's working ;)

and I think its totally correct, isnt it?
if everybody would celebrate this day with harder and better labour... how then, would the holiday be different from regular working days?

lol

we celebrate both 1 and 9 of May
there are a few working days inbetween 1-9, but all folks prefer by hook or by crook, to turn it into a whole celebrating week of leizure... to fly off to Canare Islands, Bali, and so on.

( not this time, and not me :)

Nice reply and I can' say anything against it ;) lol
Yes, it would be very nice to be somewhere in the south on a little island and away from all that's going on.

Hope you are well and everything is OK.
Take care and have a great week @qwerrie 🙂

Cheers and !BEER

It's actually a major Mexican celebration to celebrate a victory in one of their wars. It has turned into an American day to party because, well, American's like any reason to party. So, really, a picture of a beer would work. 😃

I see in the comments that I wasn't the only one to face difficulties with that theme so I guess my "flexible" interpretation will be OK :)
