In vita veritas

This year I decided to make the most of the circumstances and the situation, taking what is offered to me at the moment, without thinking and regretting the missed opportunities and 'what would happen if'.

May is my birthday month and every year at that time I am busy preparing for a trip and traveling, because in recent years I have been celebrating my birthday abroad.

I remember spending my day twice in recent years in Spain, also in Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. It had become such a rule that when the borders of the countries were closed last year and I was not able to travel, I felt as if I had no birthday. It's as if that day was skipped last year and I didn't have a birthday.

If there is one day in the year that is really important to a person, it is definitely his birthday. No Christmas, no Easter, no other conditional holidays. Maybe the New Year is also important to some extent, but according to which calendar and according to which nation?

That is why I believe that it is very important where a person is on his birthday. So I was always in wonderful places abroad just then in those last years.

Until last year.

On the other hand, May is a beautiful month. Probably the most beautiful month of the year. During it so many plants bloom, trees leaf, flowers bloom. And I missed it all, focused on preparing for the trip and traveling.

I missed the flowering of the poppies - one of my favorite flowers, I also missed the flowering of the rapeseed - these so impressive yellow fields.

So, this year I decided to correct this mistake. It is still too early for me to travel abroad, given that I have to pay for a PCR test. I closed my eyes to the fact that I had to stay in my own country again for my birthday, but I opened my eyes to other things.

And this year I did not miss the flowering of poppies. Nor did I miss the rapeseed bloom.

In fact, I caught the rapeseed bloom at the last minute. A few days later, the colors were gone - you know how short-lived everything in nature is ... just as it is with human life. So take, watch, see and enjoy. Life is wonderful only as long as we have it.

(P.S. I recently met a guy who had not heard of rapeseed oil as an edible vegetable oil, but I doubt any of you have not heard of it, and therefore this post does not have to be for educational purposes about this plant 😉.)

Until next time, beautiful souls ❤️🌻📷

My favorite season is definitely summer. Because of its warmth. But in terms of beauty, spring is the most beautiful season. And as I said, May is the most beautiful month. That's why I understand why for you as a photographer spring is your favorite season. 😊
