A great way to start the day

Catching a sunrise first thing in the morning for me is a great way to start the day even more so if its a sunrise by the water.

That all said for a variety of reasons I have only caught one sunrise recently, the sunrise at the moment is around 5:09 which is fairly early, I know far to early for many people, but often I am awake well before that at about 4:15, But trying to quietly get up grab my camera bag and head out to catch the sunrise is sometimes a challenge for me, some days I am up early but not fully awake, other days I am bright eyed and bushy tailed and start to head out and there are no clouds and colors of sunrise so I give it a miss, and others I know my wife has had a not so good nights sleep and I try to tiptoe around the house and try not to wake her and let her sleep in.

These shots are from one morning I did head out and mother nature put on a nice display

This morning I headed to this spot by looking on Google maps first and found this place where the sun rises across the water, there is a community Yacht club here and I gather these are their boats docked against the rock wall

I thought i had snuck out of the house quietly that morning, but it was about the time I was tasking this shot, my wife called to see where I was, and it was as she expected I was by the water with my camera LOL

Maybe it wasn't a spectacular sunrise that morning but there was a nice fresh breeze and I had this spot to myself there was one other person there sitting in their car enjoying a coffee and the view

Wow, that's really a great way to start the day.
Such a colorful Sunrise, I love this band of gorgeous color that lays just over and along the rock wall - looks so cool, almost as if the rock wall was on fire in the first photo 😃👍

!BEER and !WINE - both make a nice dinner with !PIZZA :)

What a striking set of crayons used here! The colors are brilliant, giving the day a great start!

I can honestly say it is hard for me to choose my favorite. The first is such a nice surprise to my eyes, and the last is a splendid goodbye - in all of its glory!

Awesome photos! 🤩 for me, catching sunrises always seemed like a battle between fighting the call of more sleep or waking up to enjoy the quiet moments before the world fully awakens 😁 thank you for sharing!
