Ducklings at Buttonwood Park

I did a post a little while back of the goslings around the pond here in Buttonwood Park, and mentioned I had also taken shots of Ducklings, well yesterday I finally got around to editing them, I was feeling a bit rough yesterday with congestion both in my nasal area and chest so was sensible and tried to sleep in and skipped exercising and going out for a walk, which I missed but it did give me a chance to work on editing photos and preparing posts

I am feeling a bit better today but going to take another easy day

OK let me start with this group of ducklings following what I assume is their mother

and a group of them wondering towards the pond now personally I think ducklings and goslings are both very cute, but I think ducks maintain there looks as they grow into adults, whereas Geese are quite ornery, but then again maybe some could say that about me LOL

I'm liking your bird photos. The little ducks are very cute especially the very small ones that are fuzzy 🙂 Hope you are feeling better today. A cold is running through our household. I have been lucky so far 🤞

Happy to hear you are feeling better. I adore the ducks and am always fascinated to see the littles swim right after hatching. They remind me of tiny balloons floating along behind the big ones lol.

They are just cute… and lucky us you got time to edit some ducklings. Their fluffy ness… aaawwww so beautiful.

Very cute! I think it is crazy how they start off with fur almost and then they end up getting the feathers and all of that. Nature is pretty cool like that. Great shots!

Good afternoon dear @tattooodjay !

The photos are lovely. They really look so helpless to those little ducklings without their mother.

It's amazing to see how the mothers are attentive to everyone following her and if one gets distracted and goes somewhere else she goes to look for him.

In the park of my city there is also a small lake where we can see postcards very similar to the ones you have shared with us.

Hi Mr @tattoodjay.
Your pictures are really cool, your big lenses really work really well.

The ducklings are so cute, they look perfect when water droplets cling to their impermeable soft feathers.
I think they have been good at swimming since they hatched from the eggs and luckily the mother ducks are not as fierce as the mother geese.

It is a great privilege to have a beautiful natural place to come to on a regular basis. What beautiful wildlife. That makes us think a lot about how such incredible creatures came to exist, it also makes us think about ourselves. How parents take care of their children, and they move in flocks and how the little ones are so cute. It's wonderful to keep track of them to see how they are doing. I loved your post and the photos. So lovely, JJ, I love these fluffy little things - great shots 😍

Last weekend I have also seen such a little family during my morning walk at the reservoir, but when mama duck saw me she swam with her 7 or 8 babies towards the middle of the lake. I think in a park they are more used of having people around while I'm almost the only one who walks on this side of the lake.

!WINE makes a delicious dinner with !PIZZA :)

That's my mom's favorite animal, they are very cute, that's why I love them too. Animals are continually showing us that teamwork is the key to live in harmony. Greetings!
