Feathered friends families

I guess this could be a post for #featheredfriday by @melinda010100, except its not Friday, so I guess I am a rule breaker.

These shots are from a walk I did around Buttonwood Park recently, it was a nice day and good to get out for a stroll and part of the walk was around the Pond/Lake/Water feature in the park, and it being Spring I saw a few of our Feathered friends having family outings on or by the water

Starting this post with a shot of this wood Duck family

Nest up a family of Canadian geese

I must say these geese must eat a lot because there sure leave a huge trail to let you know where they have been, and you have to watch your step

The geese and Wood Ducks and other ducks for that matter seemed to coexist well with no issues, its a pit we humans could not learn from them and get along better, being different in one way or another is what makes the world interesting in my mind, sadly it seems there are many who don't see it that way nut let me stop there and focus on the pbirds and not have a rant lOL

The pictures of the geese and wood ducks are cool and they look lovely, the pictures are so bright.
Thank you for the advice to humanity. If we can learn from all this and leave together as one irrespective of your color or tribe the crisis in many countries and nations will not be happening now.
However is an individual change and self reflect, for the world to be a better place it have to start from self correction before correcting others.
Thank you.

Canada Geese are vicious little things, too; very grumpy and territorial. And they really do leave a mess. I love watching them in flight, though; very graceful.

Ohh yeah for sure you have to watch where you walk and they can get very nasty for sure, but seeing a group of them fly by is cool

I have plenty of geese, but, those wood ducks are sweet! I have not seen any here, but, that doesn't mean they aren't here, I just haven't seen them. Don't you love the soft downy look of the duckling? They grow so fast, I have to go look at them daily, when I skipped a few days, I couldn't believe how big they got.

It is only humans that hold grudges and have a hard time getting along. I have no idea why, it is such a simple concept. Have any interesting adventures this week?

I hope you are having a great day and continue the trend.

I think these are the first wood ducks I have seen for a few years

What can I say humans are strange

Nothing to exciting planned this week a home energy assessment which should be interesting

Wow you even have wood duck babies. For some reason the goose goslings near my lake have all disappeared... I hope they moved to another lake and the fox or coyote didn't eat all of them.

Let’s hope they have moved

I was lucky to capture the wood ducks

Wood duck and geese... both beautiful and fun to see.
I have to go to the water to see them.
Someday I will!

Exactly why we changed the community name to Feathered Friends... The Friday challenge no longer applies and you can post your wonderful photos every day of the week!
We have a mama wood duck swimming around followed by 17 babies. I was told that often wood ducks lay eggs in what ever nest looks safest to them. Talk about finding child care early on!

Wow that’s a big family

An Sunday challenge is easier of course
