Going to the top of the mountain | I have a new 4-legged friend!

Yesterday. One more day in my life... or so I thought.

Ayer. Un día más en mi vida... o eso creí.

It was 11:30 am when I took my bike and headed out to do my cardio workout for the day. I always go to a small mountain near my house, the road is nice, the road is a little rustic in certain parts but not difficult to ride.

Eran las 11:30 am cuando tomé mi bicicleta y me dirigí a hacer mi ejercicio de cardio del día. Siempre voy a una pequeña montaña cerca de mi casa, el camino es agradable, la vía es algo rústica en ciertas partes pero nada difícil de transitar.

The sky was blue and the sun was at its highest point when I reached the end of the concrete road, I followed a dirt track to keep climbing to the top. As you climb you will notice some fences made of dry bamboo, some banks made with branches, rocks and plants placed to decorate the entrance of the trail.

El cielo era azul y el sol estaba en su punto más alto cuando llegué al final del camino de concreto, seguía un sendero de tierra para seguir subiendo a la cima. Mientras subes notarás unas vallas construidas con bambú seco, algunos bancos hechos con ramas, rocas y plantas puestas para adornar la entrada del sendero.

That day I noticed that the place was more alive than before and yet there was no one else there. The trees looked bigger and more magetuous, the rocks sharper and brighter, the leaves and bushes greener, and walking around the place there were many butterflies fluttering around, playing with each other, blue, yellow, brown (I wish I knew more about it and could tell you the species), they welcomed me.

Ese día en especial pude notar que el lugar estaba más vivo que antes y aún así no había nadie más allí. Los árboles se vean más grandes y magetuosos, las rocas más filosas y brillantes, las hojas y arbustos más verdes, y paseando por el lugar habían muchas mariposas que revoloteaban, jugando entre ellas, azules, amarillas, marrones (Me gustaría saber más de ella y poder decirles las especies), me dieron la bienvenida.

As you go up you will notice that there is a dirt channel, it opens like this so that the water can flow down the mountain on rainy days, there have been many in these months. The path is steep but not very long, it is easy to climb despite the rocks. It doesn't take more than 20 minutes.

Al subir notarás que hay un canal de tierra, se abré así para que el agua baje por la montaña los días de lluvia, a habido muchos en estos meses. El camino es inclinado pero no muy largo, es fácil de subir a pesar de las rocas. No tardas más de 20 minutos.

My bike I was a little hindered but I could climb quietly, there was no one around and you could enjoy the sounds of nature; the birds, the wind moving the branches of the trees, and, the sound of the small rocks and dirt when you walk.

Mi bicicleta me entorpeció un poco pero pude subir tranquilo, no había nadie por ahí y podrías disfrutar de los sonidos de la naturaleza; las aves, el viento moviendo la ramas de los árboles, y, el sonido de las pequeñas rocas y tierra cuando caminas.

Flowers adorned the edges of the path, giving a palette of white, purple and yellow colors to its visitors.

Las flores adornaban los bordes del camino, otorgando una paleta de colores blancos, morados y amarillos a sus visitantes.

When I reached the top, I rested my bike on the ground. And I took the time to admire the view before taking a picture. Some rain clouds could be seen in the distance in the north, on the Avila mountain. From the east you could see the clear blue sky, clouds as white as cotton. To the west you couldn't see much, the path from where I came covered with trees and bushes. On my back follows the path into the mountain, once I did but that's another story. After 40 minutes of observing the landscape and resting, I set out to go down the mountain, that's when I decided to take the pictures of the path.

Al llegar a la cima reposé mi bici en el suelo. Y me tomé el tiempo de admirar la vista antes de ocuparme a fotografiarla. Unas nubes de lluvia se percibían a lo lejes en el norte, en la montaña del Ávila. Del este se podía ver el cielo claro y azul, nubes blancas como algodón. Al oeste no se podía ver mucho, el camino de donde vine cubierto de árboles y matorrales. A mi espalda sigue el camino para adentrarse en la montaña, una vez lo hice pero eso es otra historia. A 40 minutos de observar el paisaje y descansar, me dispuse a bajar la montaña, fue cuando decidí tomar las fotos del sendero.

I got to the concrete path, now I had to go down 1 kilometer, I don't know the inclination but I always go demonically fast.

Llegué a camino de concreto, ahora debía ir en bajada 1 kilómetro, no sé la inclinación pero siempre voy endemoniadamente rápido.

When I arrived home I was welcomed with a surprise, they had brought me the puppy that I wanted to adopt some time ago. I called him Cartier -later I will tell you that story-.

Al llegar a mi casa me recibieron con una sorpresa, me habían traído el cachorrito que hace tiempo quería adoptar. Lo llamé Cartier -luego les contaré esa historia-.
