Indoor Update On My Dark Heart Nursery Cuts
What's up Weed Nerds! So I have been posting about the failure of a Steem Og growing outdoor, due to falling to the plant cancer, Botrytis Cinerea. But growing in my back yard always has been a bit of a challenge, and really the only thing I should attempt to grow back there, is plants that love the shade. One day I will have a spot to grow some monsters outside, but until then I have my tent where I can grow great medicine, and continue to strive to grow the best I am able to.
Currently in my 32''x32''
- Vanilla Frosting
- GMO Cookies
- Both are Dark Heart Nursery Cuts
Vanilla Frosting
By far my favorite out of the two. If you like strains like Wedding Cake, Og Kush, then this strain is for you! It is also available in seed from The Humboldt Seed Company, reg and fem versions. Currently I am on day 50ish, and have gave it a microbe boost the other night, and now plan to use plain water for the next 2 weeks. I have been maintaing humidity at 45%.
GMO Cookies
If you have ever had any of the Garlic terp profile strains, then you can picture the smell of this plant. Nothing amazing IMO. But I do have to say the trichomes are starting to shine. This is a longer flowering strain, and I will hit a few times with some compost teas, and microbe boosts. I suspect at least another 3-4 weeks before I call this one.
Both of those look fire
Thanks Dave!

Damn fine crop the vanilla frosting lineage humbolt frost and humbolt Gelato so jealous 😢
Yeah they cracked 1000 seeds to find this one!
Tragic yet necessary sacrifice.
Woah. Those buds look pretty dank to me. Nice work. You wouldn't have to twist my arm into stacking a fat one of either strain.
I take this as a badge of honor! Thanks. If it also helps to know these are clean as can be!
Muy buena la información y más aun las fotos seguro es buena como mismo la imagen habla sola
Gracias amigo!
"Back in the day", we fought bud rot by punching any dealer or grower in the face if they had bud rot. The incentive to avoid that was strong, I guess, because most weed was free of that problem! Now under "legalization" it apparently happens all the time. I wouldn't know, I've never touched legal.
Keep up the great work : ))
It is a common thing for outdoor, especially on the west coast. I hear the vineyards brought it in in the 70’s. But either way or anybody to overlook it and let it be sold to another party, that is pretty fucked! I’ll be honest, all my bud that I am savaging will be only for me. It won’t be worth it to sell it, especially taking a chance someone who would not have a clue what to look for the o smoke it would weigh heavily on my conscience.
True that, but not everybody has a good heart like yourself, so the underground has ways of ensuring almost nobody tries to sneak any moldy buds into a transfer. Government uses regulations and fines, underground uses face punches. If you think about it, fines are backed up by the power of the state, and if you don't pay, they eventually come to MAKE you pay. So both systems of quality control involve a threat to keep people in line. One is just more honest about that, haha.
