Afri-tunes Wk 94 - "Watching Over Me By Chike" Cover
Hello Afri-tunes community!
It's another week and Merit is here once to share an African tune, I'm always happy to be able to share African music every week, it's fulfilling and fun.

So for this week, I decided to do the cover of the song "Watching Over Me", a song sang by Chike, another handsome and talented Nigerian artist.
The song is a beautiful one, a song about acknowledgement and gratitude. A song dedicated to God Almighty for His love, care and guidance over our lives. It's almost the end of the year, this song is a perfect one to say "I am grateful".
The song in both igbo and English language with the latter being more so the song is quite understandable for anyone to listen. I chose to sing this song randomly when I decided ill share a cover today. No much practice since I've always loved to play it.
Listen to the original here, I couldn't find the English interpretation of the igbo words so there are no subtitles for the video but I can bet we know what the song sings about.
