Free Worldwide Blockchain Powered Internet - Daily D00k13 Day 2 IAAC

Parler... WTF!?!? A platform spouting free speech and they are shut down by Amazon? Seems like an oversight to me! This situation has got me thinking about the real issue we are all soon to face and how there very well could be a solution which empowers its users rather then restricts them.

#Centralization of the entire #InternetServiceProvider network has gone on unchecked and in this video I give a freestyle breakdown of how I see blockchain could revolutionize the industry. Why not use the very thing required to maintain #Blockchain transactions, the internet, to empower consumers through the existing infrastructure?

That's It, @D00k13 OUT!!!

#Centralization of the entire #InternetServiceProvider network has gone on unchecked

One thing to note Amazon is not an internet service provider. They are a hosting provider for clarification purposes.

Anyways, back to the main topic. This is a topic I really quite love as I have done extensive research in the matter. First off I would say having blockchain software on the router is a not so great idea. Better idea would be having neutral routing protocols like yggdrasil operating on it.

Someone of course needs to provide the infrastructure to route across the oceans and everywhere else. Which of course costs money, so I can't see it will ever be free. Luckily! The internet is already free in a sense if you have an ASN and are peered to another network. You can route your IP traffic between each network free of charge! There are of course reasons why this is the case. One being it makes sense to exchange traffic in a balance manner. Why should one group be charged if it benefits each group mutually? Unfortunately for end users this isn't the case.

BGP in particular is the primary internet traffic routing technologies used in almost every ISP. It is also already decentralized in some manner, but it is generally not accessible to the everyday person. More of, left to ISPs and larger organizations to manage and bring access to individuals.

They do provide an internet service, flexing the use of terminology as the corporate level of internet access is different then consumer but centralization all the same.

The details of what system and why I may never understand but which ever one would allow network downtime to be used for generation of tokens to be used as payment towards the users bandwidth or income/investment I think has the potential to provide internet world wide free of charge.

Infrastructure is a very physical based word. I do not know the inter-political BS for any such company to arise but we see cellular competitors come and go, not so much the physical options. The system would have to make use of infrastructure already existing which would mean working with the local companies to get it into the hands of everyday people.

I can see how to market it ... set it with a limit for free sign up just plug and play using only tokens generated ... unlock more power with signing up for better prepaid packages ... never restrict data but tie bandwidth to prepaid packages ... that is just the ISP idea where I think mobile would be a whole lot easier ;)

There is a project that already exists a bit similar to what you are talking about. Take a look at https://althea.net/

EDIT: I believe there are some local deployments in your nearby area. Would be worth while to look into.

That’s sounds about right but still build on top of the standard ISP ... using their model from the ground up I think would completely revolutionize the industry. Much potential for the rural areas yet in the city buildings would be a major issue unless also making use of the physical network in some way

but still build on top of the standard ISP

Could you elaborate a little bit more on this?

Well it must plug in to internet somewhere which is all still built on top of the existing hard network using wireless to get range where physical lines are more complicated ... eg cabin on other side of lake can have 1gb connection but limit at about 10 km ish also requires antenna for transmission which depending on topography may require many repeaters ... anyways point is in their business model it states make arrangements with existing ISP as their range benefits the corporation - basically you take the place of the ISP via wireless distribution

The revolutionary part would be if targeting small communities and taking over then absorbing the ISP to take the physical network or building your own physical data centre to then build a wireless distribution network

I guess so. The technology can in a sense work in a way that is entirely separate from the internet, but it's routing isn't neutral and does require a source of "internet" you could say. In Althea networks the operator typically buys a wholesale dedicated internet access connection then sets up wireless hardware. The network infrastructure can be owned and operated entirely by users running physical infrastructure of really any type as long as it carries internet traffic. It only needs neutral routing and people operating physical servers to host websites and content, then it would be exactly as you say.

I have little to no idea on the coding mumbo-jumbo things regarding Internet or website or web hosting. I want, we want the decentralised platform to be successful. However, can we move forward without our dependency on the "centralized things". One one or another, we need centralized media to which we are pointing our fingers.

I do believe that if we build the system from the ground up a decentralized and truly free society will emerge benefitting the entire world while holding the very systems we believe work best in a centralized system accountable through decentralization ... the fundamental problem is awakening those who cannot see as it will require a shift in the global consciousness!

Interesting. This whole censorship whether by shadow banning, algorithm, denying service is getting serious as a heart attack.
