YES without any doubt.
Heimin makes all the big calls and the question wasnt even about that. It was:
It just proved without a shadow of a doubt that it does not.
Nothing against you personally, dude. Actions are louder than words. If DTube is more than heimendanger; if Decentralization is actually a value important to DTube; PROVE IT. Supporting Steem just makes DTube a laughing stock. Decentralization isn't just some buzz word. It has a specific meaning in the context of a blockchain. One person can push through any code change on the Steem blockchain - it is a fact that the Steem blockchain is no longer decentralized.
Take a step back. I understand you have invested a ton of time and energy into DTube. But honestly take a step back and look at the big picture. Can you honestly say that "decentralization" is a central value for DTube AND at the same time say that DTube should continue to support and operate on the Steem blockchain? This is an honest question. I want to hear it from your lips, not heimendangers. You truly believe there is nothing incompatible with DTube supporting/operating on the Steem blockchain, and still claiming decentralization as a core value?
I believe if you are honest with yourself, even you as a strong DTube supporter will have to admit that there is a hypocrisy going on that can only be explained by Heimendanger's personal fued, and which cannot be explained rationally by the values espoused and claimed by DTube.
Maybe DTube users/developers need to boot heimendanger to the curb; or if in fact heimendanger does control dtube and DTube users/developers have no power to boot heimendanger to the curb, than DTube users/developers may need to spin a fork off. Don't be surprised though if you do nothing, and DTube continues to be the butt of jokes.
