Wednesday was my day off and I woke up to a storm. I wasn't planning to go out earlier and had some cereal as as brunch.
星期三是我工作休息日。我醒来时在下着大雨也就不打算出门。就吃些谷类为早午餐。

However, my wife went out for work recce trip and was going back to her parents' place and I decided to meet her at the town central for lunch. So, I went to the food court at the basement of HDB Hub when it was still drizzling.
然而，太太出去工作巡查个地点，在回娘家时会经过市镇中心。商业我决定出去和她吃午饭。于是，我去了建屋局中心的地下层的食阁。当时还下着小雨。
Sat at table and had a short discussion with the lady and we concluded soup was a good idea for the rainy day. I decided to order using the app, paid and waited a while before going to collect my lunch.
抢了个桌子和太太谈了一番，结论汤是在那时候喝汤是个好主意。我决定为使用的小程序下单，支付，等了一会儿才去领取我的午饭。
I wonder which pot my ABC soup would come from.
不知道我的ABC汤将来自哪锅。
A bowl of pumpkin rice to share and 2 bowls of vitamin A, B and C for my wife and I.
南瓜饭让我和太太分享和2碗维他命A，B和C给我的太太一人一碗。
I'm always happy to have this on a cold raining day.
每到寒冷的雨天能喝着这汤真爽。
Passed by the boys on the way home. The plants were still wet.
回家的路上，经过男孩。附近植物仍是湿的。
This coffee shop was crowded.
这咖啡电点挤满了人。
The rows of shops were less crowded. You can see the faces from a political party but most people where having lunch somewhere or staying away from the rain.
这两排商店没那么多人。你可以看到政党的脸孔但人们不是在吃午饭就是避免在雨天出来。
I decided to walk halfway with my wife who was walking to the inlaws' place and stopped at this food centre at Lorong 5 Toa Payoh to get dessert. The lunch crowd there were smaller.
太太走去她娘家，我决定陪太太走一半在大巴窑5巷这熟食物中心喝个清汤。那里的午餐人群不是很多。

They have to. I suspect each pot easily dish out 30 or more bowls. Peak lunch crowd need things to move fast.

It is very nice of you to go to your in-laws well your wife is at work. I'm sure that's nice for them and I know that has to feel good for her. Nice to meet her for lunch! I have to say that those are big pots of soup! They must sell a lot of soup. I have never had pumpkin rice and I am going to have to believe you that it was good. Now you have me curious and I'm going to have to look up how it's made. Soup is one of those foods that I am always happy to have, but never happier when it's a cold rainy day. This looks a lot different than what I thought it would look like. Now you have me really curious about the recipe. I see that you passed the boys and they are still hanging around Starbucks, waiting for a drink.
There's actually quite a crowd at the coffee shop, surprisingly. I'm not sure what that is called that you got for dessert but it looks very nice! I am sure the in-laws liked it! You are a nice son-in-law.
