-Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and fine together with your friends loved ones and family!❀️

This is my participation in #marketfriday by Ma'am @dswigle

I want to share about the Robinsons Galleria South here in San Pedro City Laguna Philippines πŸ‡΅πŸ‡.

Last Friday My Mom and I went to that Mall as early as 6:30 AM, hehe but not to go shopping. My Mom was selected as the Unconditional Cash Transfer beneficiary, by our Government. It was a surprise for us, we didn't even remember how it all started so we just seeing as God's blessing. Mom is already 81 years old, The Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) said that this is for poor people and senior citizens. And Thank you God for this blessing.

So we went there to get the Landbank Cash Card issued by the DSWD. It was great that it was held there in The Robinsons Galleria South because it was comfortable there. The Mall is very accessible, we only travel less than 5 minutes from the San Pedro City Laguna Town Proper.

The mall has picnic grounds, different food chains, and restaurants, and it has also Banks and ATM booths inside the area. When the Mall has still closed some Cafeterias are already open on the sides if you want to get there in the early morning, when the Early Sunrise looks so amazing. The mall also has Movie houses, apparel, and different Government services are available too. Like the Department of Foreign Affairs, Social Security System, and Philippine Health Insurance, PAG-IBIG Social Fund.

You can view more about the mall Here

So we reached the mall around 6:30 AM, Friday, March 17, 2023. I let my Mom sit somewhere and I stayed in the line where all the senior citizens fall in line on a first come first serve basis.

Outside the mall is a Nature-inspired ambiance. Very relaxing!

At 8 AM the guard let us enter the mall and we went to the second floor of the mall, I don't have many pictures because the situation is a bit hard, so we fall in line again and then called Mom when it was our turn to enter the place for the issuance of the card. I was not feeling well at that time because I had the flu and stomach pains but Mom can't go there alone. She also felt dizzy at that time. The reason also that I can't take more pictures, because I need to assist and hold Mom's hand while walking, we also walk via stairs going down because she is afraid to use the escalator.

As we enter the place and have our seats they instructed us to check the paper, but Mom's name was misspelled and the signature of the DSWD officer was needed so I accomplished the things needed. The name should be EMERLINDA ERLANO, not Emirilinda

As we submitted all the documents the Landbank officer gave the Cashcard, we didn't know if money is available already, they said we need to go to the Landbank branch and change the PIN of the Cash Card and a balance inquiry fee of 15 Php is needed to avail the service

It was a surprise that the Cashcard has 5,600 PHP. It was truly a big blessing, all the glory be to God.

When we reached home Mom spread a little amount as a gift to her grandchildren and to us her family

Here is more of the views in that beautiful mall which I captured on our previous visit there, the flowers are part of the permanent landscape there, hope you like it

Always keep a beautiful smile like this 😁 and let God be the center of life alwaysβ€οΈπŸ˜‡πŸ™ Please don't forget to pray!πŸ™

Photos are hard to upload so I made a photo video..all photos are captured by Me

That is wonderful! I am not exactly sure what the money is for, but anytime the government gives us money, it is a good thing!!

How sweet that she shared her windfall with everyone! Is this a one-time payment or will she get this every month?

Either way, how awesome! You are a good daughter for taking care of your mom. ❀️ Thank you for being part of #MarketFriday!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

1.Go to any type of market, or anywhere where you pay money for a service. It can be a museum, a movie theatre, or an auction. Be creative!
2.Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? We like to compare prices, otherwise, it is just pictures of a market!
3.Post the pictures! No out-of-focus ones, please! Tell a little bit about the pictures that you post. Having many pictures to scroll through does not make a better post without explanation.
4.Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated) If you don't, then #MarketFriday should be your first tag
5.Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post.
6.#MarketFriday post should be submitted sometime on Friday UTC
7.The post MUST be in English
8.Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it

-Hi @diswigle Ma'am thank you for the appreciation May God bless you more. She will not get it monthly, Actually, we considered this as an unexpected blessing from God. According to the staff that I have talked with, this is for poor Filipino citizens, which is 200 PHP or 4 USD monthly. (accumulated for almost 8 years)I think this is a one-time payment, not sure because I don't even know how Mom gets this, for us, it's a big blessing. Mom always shares everything she has. As children, it's our obligation and responsibility to take good care of our parents. Have a blessed day!πŸ˜‡πŸ™

I feel the same, it is our obligation, but, also to be done out of love makes it even sweeter. Which I can tell you already do. I think it is a great blessing. I was wondering why they gave her a card if it was only one time.

Whichever the case, it was a nice story, one that makes you feel good.
