Market for fairly used items

Hello Hiveians

Looking back at the origin of fairly used cloth I noticed it has different names it was called over time, from bend-down boutique to benddown select and the more familiar native name Okrika.

Okrika describe the name of the only port where these clothes are shipped into the country in the 1950's when Nigerian was gaining her independence and her people couldn't afford to make their own clothes just yet.
These clothes are shipped in from different countries and lacked in bags of different bale where wholesalers buy and take to their shop. It is initially believed that okrika clothes were meant for poor and underprivileged but now its use over time has defined another purpose and people believe it to have some quality and lasting effects.

People are of so much believe and opinion that fairly used items last longer than their newly manufactured counterparts maybe because of the extra processes they undergo after first use.

They get crosschecked, rewashed and prepared for second use. And now there is basically no item you need at the fairly used market that you won't find.

I went in search of a school bag for my little sis.

The more surprising thing is that all category of things now are been sold at this market such that even pants and underwear can be bought.

The question now is can you buy and use underwear from this market.

I personally cannot and feels very odd about this, but I found some people who find it convenient to use these clothes.

Did your sister like her new school bag? Children usually love it when we buy something for them.

That was so nice of you to buy your sister a new bag for school. For sure it made her day! Did she like the one you picked? They truly did have nice bags and they really sanitize and clean them up well.

You are right. From what I have read, those bales of clothing were collected for people in need, but, there was such an overabundance shipped, they didn't need all of it, so it was sold in lots to vendors.

I am not sure I could buy undergarments like that. But, if I was short on money, it might be that I would have to or go without. Thanks for joining in! Great post!
