Market friday supporting small businesses

In one of my previous posts on #marketfriday, i talked about lending supports, doing more for local and small businesses and since I've been looking for one.
Luckily i was able to come across a small scale business.

Here, is a woman that sells used bags and clothes known in Nigeria as 'okrika'.
Okrika used to be a name of a seaport, where most of this bags,shoes and bags are shipped in.
The woman here had decided to set up her shop and decided to display her products right in front of her house.
Her house is one of the major routes in the neighbourhood, so there is tendency that a large number of people will pass through here everyday and hence see what shes selling.

Most of this producta are hanged on the wall and some on the tree. When i quizzed the woman further she said there has been no fund for her to turn this into a big store, and getting a much bigger shop to buy more things.

I was also able to capture closely some teddy bears, bags and customers that come around to buy

Some of the bags sold are women hand bag, purse and school bags, bag packs and leather shoes.

whats the way forward;

Ask her if shes going extra lenght just to get more customers, by using her social medias, twitter, Instagram, facebook to advertise her product, funny enough she aint using any, she only rely on people passing through her route and possibly from referals too.

So where do we go from here, am not this wealthy but willing to help this small business grow, so i introduced this woman to #hive. Even though she did not know much about #crypto. So most times i have to based my explanations on #bitcoin since thats the only crypto shes familiar with.

We exchanged contact and told her to fix up a time, we can have all the time to talk about hive and possibly onboard her so as to earn more for herself by herself.

Good for her, that's smart to do it in front of her house so she doesn't have to travel far with everything. If her house is on a busy road, she probably gets a lot of passers by!
I hope she is able to be successful and grow and that we see her on Hive soon!

That is awesome! I actually sell the social media part to people who don't know crypto well, otherwise, some feel intimidated, and then they can learn as they earn. This worked for me, but, probably not everyone.

I like the idea of the market being right in front of her house. What an easy commute! :)) I think Facebook may help her too with their neighborhood marketplace. Then she can bring in more business from here local area. Then Hive for money. I wish her luck and you too in onboarding her~!! That is so nice of you to try to lend a hand.
