The hot weather days of sun and fun have finally found their way to Michigan! I have to admit it is a guilty pleasure to float about in a kayak and let the day just unwind and fade away... However, I cannot just neglect my blogging responsibilities here on Hive! I have not done a Market Friday in ages and felt it was high time to do one today! Of course I am thankful to @dswigle for keeping Market Friday a fun experience!
Now it is my understanding that we can now go in a place of business without a mask if one has been vaccinated. In fact I actually went in to the local grocery store last night. However there are certain items that Kroger has that are really good and very hard to find anywhere else...So I still have been using curbside pickup. Even without the pandemic, I think the curbside pickup is a time saving feature!
So when I came home with a trunk full of groceries, I was unable to get to the door for several other boxes and this rather large box.
It is actually a small tree!
I thought the way they packaged it was rather good at keeping the dirt in!
It is a Veranda Banana Tree. It says a year and a half of frost free weather and it should produce fruit. It should get to about 6 to 8 feet tall. I was surprised how well it shipped!
