Colorful Baskets for #MarketFriday

Happy #marketfriday awesome peeps!!!

Is it just me, or are the days going superfast lately? I can't believe it is the end of the week once again!

Pre-COVID times, I did my food & supplies shopping on weekends. Now, I purposely go twice a week during the weekdays. Not only that but I also have developed a new habit of lingering longer in each aisle.

In the past, I may have missed these lovely baskets. I wonder if these have been here for a while? I just noticed the baskets today... and are all over the place!

Baskets are the perfect solution to questions like:

"How can I keep that area organized and tidy?" or "What can I put in that spot?"

I can think of many uses for these baskets.

As I go through the aisle, I am imagining a hundred things to put in them!

I know just where to put the pink basket and what it will contain!

Looking for something in mostly Black with a little bit of red to match to go with my wardrobe .... Fuchsia and black won't do I'm afraid perhaps the next shipment.

Being as our home is in a bit of de-construction, lol, I don't have much organization. However, a couple of Christmas's ago, @silvertop got me this nice little gem from a sporting goods store, of all places. They had lots of neat stuff there like this. Not much for organizing, but perfect for the Ponderosa Pine Cones it houses.

I have a feeling that you picked the pink basket! I recall that is your favorite color!😀 Yes ..if you are the person putting your treasures in the basket, you are the one that keep's these treasures safe! Like crypto wallets and the keys, you are in control of your investments!!

I recall in college the first lecture on economics, and the professor used "basket of goods" a lot. I guess for us stackers, it is appropriate (and real) to refer to the basket as a chest (of silver and gold). WOW, your furry children are spoiled to have a basket of a thousand and one toys!!!! This was such a cool post!!! I loved it so much!! I especially loved the interactive part of having people post their baskets! Let the fun begin!

I like baskets. I use them for everything. For a while, I collected Longaberger Baskets for a little bit. I was sad when they announced they were closing in 2018. They were so cool, but, it wasn't a passion, they were just nice and like you said, you could put things in them and they worked anywhere you put them.

I like your style (and the places you take us!!! The baskets in the store! Cool!) but, seriously, I like the way you write and your style. You are so kind and wonderful to everyone. You are the best! 💕

I have ONE Longaberger Basket. Goodness, they are so pricey. I recall seeing one on Ebay last year that sold for over $2,000.00! You have expensive taste, my sweet friend, @dswigle!
I appreciate you very much and how you are so encouraging in your comments. To be very honest with you, I feel lacking when it comes to writing anything at all, although I can be articulate in my private journals, lol, and why that is so, I don't know. I wish I was more like you. Your writing is lovely, and so romantic. Mine is like... (sometimes I feel is...) pedestrian. But I don't pretend to be a writer, nor to be more than what I am. I just share the ordinary things of my daily life and so grateful that many like me have your #marketfriday as a venue to do that! Your creation, #marketfriday, has a life of its own. There are many who look forward to Fridays to share the sights around them. And for sure, they all eagerly wait for you to view their markets. It is mind boggling how you are able to comment on all #marketfriday posts. The articles and photos are so interesting. I enjoy reading many of them.
